Introducing "Knoebels 25," the brand new live double-length album from The Mahoney Brothers! Over the last two and a half decades, The Mahoney Brothers annual free residency shows at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA have become quite infamous. Recorded over the course of seven days last July, 2019 marked twenty-five consecutive summers of performing at Knoebels bandshell, and the album features twenty-five songs from that week.

Besides the magic of Knoebels itself, a family-owned amusement park tucked away in the middle of North Central Pennsylvania, what also sets apart these shows from any other Mahoney Brothers performance is the wide variety of music performed over the course of the week every year. Every day consists of three shows: an early evening performance of some variation of their Jukebox Heroes Live! tribute show with a rotating list of tribute acts, a night-time Beatles tribute (in recent years, The Beatles & Beyond including music from John, Paul, George, & Ringo's solo careers"), and an afternoon rare non-tribute set from The Mahoney Brothers, where "anything goes" and whose set list is usually decided right before the show.

These afternoon shows are often filled with songs that The Mahoney Brothers only perform at Knoebels, and these rare performances have been captured and featured as the first segment on "Knoebels 25." The next batch of songs on the album are selections from their Jukebox Heroes Live! tribute show, including a few that haven't been featured on any other JBH releases to date. The final group of songs rounding out the album are from The Beatles & Beyond show, including songs from John, Paul, George, and Ringo's solo catalogues of music, and a few Beatles classics that didn't make it onto the extensive Mahoney Brothers "Red & Blue" Beatles live albums.

Though COVID-19 has broken the streak of performing at Knoebels this year, hopefully this live album will help bring the music of The Mahoney Brothers to you safely in your homes this summer.
