Though one could say The Mahoney Brothers were "established" when youngest brother Mike was born in the mid-60's, older brothers Tim and Brian first performed as a band under the moniker in 1978. Mike joined the following year, and thus began a nearly 40 year journey in music. Since then, the brothers have performed over 7,000 shows all around the globe, including audiences of more than 50,000 at Giants Stadium in NJ and Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia, national television prime-time appearances on CBS, The Disney Channel, and The Nashville Network, and a performance in 1995 in Washington D.C. for President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton.
"Rarities Vol. 1" is the first collection that spans The Mahoney Brothers' entire 40 year career, featuring live recordings from some of their earliest shows, brand new acoustic mixes, tracks from long out-of-print albums, and unreleased studio recordings. The album is the first to include both original Mahoney Brothers compositions, and also songs from their "Jukebox Heroes Live!" and "Long Live The Beatles" shows.
The CD version is available exclusively at Mahoney Brothers live shows, but you can add the album to your digital collection by downloading a copy today right here directly from Noisewater Records.
